Expeditions: A MudRunner Game — Weird physics? (feddit.uk)

I was excited to see this game get released on Game Pass, as I loved the original and SnowRunner. However, after putting several hours in, I get this weird sense that the physics have been changed somehow. It certainly doesn't feel the same as SnowRunner. Anyone else?

I believe Expeditions was changed to be a bit simpler or more friendly to new players. I read somewhere that the physics were changed and one thing you can visibly see is the body flex on the trucks is significantly reduced or completely removed in Expeditions.

I think of Expeditions like a spinoff game, where Spintires/Mudrunner and Snowrunner are main games. Like Forza Motorsport vs Forza Horizon.

I thought something felt odd. It feels too easy just driving over the landscape in 4WD with automatic gears.

I did have one moment where the truck got its front left wheel stuck in a crevice, but the rest of the truck was free to move. I turned the steering to the opposite lock and the entire truck did a bunny hop to the right with the one wheel remaining in the crevice. That's some powerful steering!
