Thank you for the correction. I'm just going on what those around me have been saying. It is very expensive though.
That I will definitely give you. From what I hear about MI (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) they were basically the same way and then prices fell as more competition came in, crop went up, etc. etc. Time will tell.
Not just that, but the taxes are actually lower in Ohio (15.75%) than Michigan (16%). Both have a 10% cannabis tax, but Ohio has a slightly lower sales tax.
Both are significantly lower than Illinois though.
Meanwhile, Mike Braun's plan is for all of the states around us to collect that tax money instead.
