It would be my own personal link aggregation space that's not just my profile. I am one of those neckbearded Reddit refugees who sometimes doesn't play well with others. Am I just being bitchy?

As long as you make it clear in the sidebar, I think it’s perfectly fine IMHO

It’s not even that selfish because surprisingly you might even find a few people who like your content and subscribe! Lol

i do like ansible... do i like ansible more than the money i would spend on a vps? not clear at this time.

I just run it off a system at my house, no hosting costs required. (Besides the domain name I guess)

You can create your own instance of Lemmy and close signups. Just federate it with whichever server you want. That's all
