it's insane to me how normalized it is for our elections to be so completely garbage. I fully understand that any streamlining of the process is against the class interests of the bourgeoisie that benefit from how opaque, overly complex, and undemocratic they are.

but Jesus Christ. it somehow takes a heroic effort to make even the most basic change to the ballot, but I can order the most absurd configurations of a several distinct tacos on a phone app and pay for it in like 4 minutes with a timestamped digital receipt in two places and multiple records of the transaction for the vendor and the financial institution.

I mean the elections in Europe are much more streamlined in Europe and the right is in constant power. I don't really think it's an issue of class interest. It's just rot
