Fernando Alonso believes that as a "role model" it is important for him and other F1 drivers to "behave properly" given the size of the spotlight they are under.

Coming from the guy that tried to blackmail his team into under-fueling his rookie teammate's car, who constantly stokes conspiracy theories of xenophobia against Spaniards whenever he gets criticised or punished for on-track behaviour, and who directly benefitted and was involved with Crashgate?
