Telus doing this too. Rather than a credit card surcharge (PR disaster) it’s a autopay discount of $5.
It’ll be a cold day before I ever give a company direct billing access to my accounts. At least with credit cards I have protection and get a free bonus points.
Public used to do the same
Now they got rid of all their discounting to give you “points” instead
Rogers also gives $10 off for having auto-pay setup.
