Seconding ivpn. Have accepted monero for a very long time and check just about every VPN box you could hope for (including port forwarding).

Though if this is for e.g. torrenting rather than geohopping or clearnet obscurity, consider I2P instead of a VPN, especially if cost is a factor (NEVER use a "free" VPN).

Yeah but can't you only torrent I2P torrents that are made available on I2P?

Yes as far as I'm aware you can only leech via i2p what is seeded to i2p. Maybe one day the outproxy system will be more like tor exit nodes and allow leeching clearnet torrents from i2p.

But you can seed to both. So if you're already seeding in the clear (or via vpn) and your bittorrent client supports it then you might as well also seed to i2p.

Ugh, I really wish I2P had been developed with interoperability with the clearnet from the get-go, like TOR. I literally have no reasons to use I2P unless I want to go through the hassle of compiling a resource book of I2P services for myself.

I wish Proton would support Monero. Their services are pretty good quality

Unfortunately Mullvad does not accept, maybe would be a good Idea to ask them why.

Mullvad accepts Monero and has for a long time. They removed port forwarding due to abuse issues.

[-] bjoerns@feddit.de 4 points 1 year ago

Correct seems that it only is not in their FAQ. But they accept Monero an also provide a 10% discount when Paying with crypto

[-] PandoraBox@monero.town 4 points 1 year ago

They are great in that area. Took a while make it available, but they wanted to run their own wallet and node instead of entrusting it to a third party before they started offering monero payment.
