Yeah our beautiful /c/traa mods are getting to these shitters first, then admins are going through and issuing temp/perma sitebans to those users. All the bans are in the modlog so its easy for us to reference for permas but you're right that we need a tracking system, which we are implementing.
So it's comm mods (who don't have the ability to do sitewide bans) doing the frontline work with the intention of admins cleaning up after. But currently the system isn't working very well
right, that makes sense. thank you. still glad I chose to bring up this example as it was pretty egregious.
Their post history is... interesting. Can't say losing them would be a shame.

Within Hexbear Proposals you can see the history of all site proposals and react to them, indicating a vote for or against a proposal.
Sending messages will be restricted to verified and active hexbear accounts older than 1 month with their matrix id in their hexbear user profile.
All top level messages within the channel must be a Proposals (idea for changing the site), Feedback (regarding non-technical aspects of the site, for technical please use https://hexbear.net/c/feedback), or Appeals (regarding admin/moderator actions).
