I get way more stoned when I get stoned than any of my friends. The only difference is I've taken acid a few times and they haven't. It was several years ago, and I noticed in the weeks that followed weed hit me way the fuck harder. Does that last forever?

The acid could have changed how you perceive being high and maybe that has stuck with you. Anyone who would answer decisively either way is just guessing but I would lean towards not directly currently acid mediated but could still be contributive

So I'm not crazy.

I've experienced exactly what you're describing. This may happen on an individual basis, then. The why, though, is something we likely won't find out for some time.

Done a lot of acid, smoked a lot of weed, never noticed a difference. 🤷‍♂️

I don't know about permanently, but that was my experience back when I did more psychedelics. It doesn't generally happen to me anymore except getting really high can be reminiscent of a trip every once in a while.

We would always joke about acid flashbacks and spinal fluid, but I'm more convinced it's just the previous experience coloring my perception.

I also loved smoking a bit for the comedown of acid. It can really catapult you back into it, but with the added chillness of the comedown. That experience in itself could be part of it when smoking later for me. But still, nothing has really stuck years later.

My experience is the opposite. Since doing acid I find that I can never really get to where I want to be with weed, it kind of ruined it a little bit for me permanently.

As another poster suggested I think maybe it just changed my general perception of getting high rather than any physical changes within myself.

I wish it was the other way around like you seem to be experiencing but I guess it is generally better for my health as I now smoke considerably less weed as it is just like a chasing the dragon sort of situation with me where I smoke and smoke and smoke trying to get to where I want to be then end up just falling asleep and not doing anything because of the fatigue from smoking and never feeling like I attained that high I was looking for.
