E6000 isn't hazardous at all, it's a good glue when flexibility is required.

Lmao I almost glued myself to myself with super glue, this is a now (edit: no) for me. I don't trust myself
It's not like super glue. Several days' curing time. It washed off easily with regular hand soap

Stick your fingers in some nail polish remover, it should break down the glue.
Or orange juice really anything acidic
Unless you hold your fingers together with pressure for more than a day, it won't glue fingers together.
Getting it out of carpet is a big deal though
I got some on my fingers several times during the process, and it wipes off easily with a paper towel, and residue washes off with regular hand soap.
The curing time is very long, 36 hours if I remember it right. So I usually plan to leave it for a week because if I move the glued item too soon it falls apart again

it's not only about sewing
The focus is on reducing waste, whether that be sewing from the scraps left from other projects, using the end of rolls and remnants, or repairing and remaking finished pieces.
Oh, well then this project fits perfectly. The whole point was to stop throwing out jeans and buying more just to send them through the shredder of outdoor work. Nice!
