Please refer to Israel as Occupied Palestine, or occupied territories. The IDF is a fascist and ethnonationalist occupying force. Israelis are settlers. We understand however that the imperial narrative (which tries to legitimise Israel) is internalised in the imperial core and slip-ups are naturally expected.

We always take the sides of Palestine and Palestinians and are unapologetic about it. Israel is an occupying power whose "defence force"'s (note the contradiction) sole purpose for existing is to push Palestinians out so they can resettle their rightful land. If you have anything positive to say about Israel we do not care.

“Now, with an agreement reached regarding the northern border with Lebanon, it is time to finalize a deal and bring the hostages home” from Gaza, Herzog said during a meeting with the family of an Israeli hostage held in Gaza.

He added that negotiations were taking place “behind the scenes.”

“Now is the opportunity to bring about a meaningful change that will lead to a deal to free the hostages,” he added.

On Saturday, Palestinian resistance group Hamas released a video of Edan Alexander, an Israeli-American hostage pleading to US President-elect Donald Trump to intervene to secure his release and other captives.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar claimed early Sunday that there were indications of progress in a potential hostage exchange deal with Palestinians.

“There are indications regarding a ceasefire with Hamas. We may see a greater degree of flexibility on their part. In my opinion, we will know in the coming days,” Sa’ar told a conference hosted by Israel Hayom newspaper.

As someone from Gaza, unfortunately, the deal will not succeed. Netanyahu, the Nazi, wants to remain in Gaza, and Ben-Gvir seems to be convincing him to settle and forcibly expel the people of Gaza, which Hamas has rejected since the beginning of negotiations. Therefore, the equation is zero. However, in the end, I hope there will be a breakthrough and a deal that meets the needs of the people to stop the fighting, rebuild Gaza, and break the siege imposed on us.

Damn, all they would bring home is bodies blown to smithereens using American bombs dropped by Israel! Yeah, let's keep the lie going that 45,226 Palestinians dead was to “save” 251 Israelis.
