Well they can create them, but they cant sell their work without getting sued...

Even creating them will sometimes earn you legal threats that you can't afford to respond to.

If you're not as wealthy as they are, the process is the punishment.

I dont see it on Jerboa app. Usually, alt-text is shown as a spoiler in the post body.

Its there when i hover over the image on my laptop. In any case, it is: A hacker news screenshot, it shows a comment by "clarkmoody" saying "Previous civilizations were able to own their cultural myths. Modern civilization's cultural myths are controlled by giant faceless corporations with legions of lawyers. No one can tell a new story about Han, Luke, and Leia without permission from the House of Mouse." It then shows a child comment by "cyost" saying "Here you go, 9360 new stories about Han, Luke, and Leia: https://archiveofourown.org/works?commit=Sort+and+Filter&wor=..."

I don't see it on desktop either. I saw your bug report, not much mods can do about it as far as I understand

Interesting. I didn't send a bug report about it though.

OH mb I clicked the wrong message in the thread

[-] Irelephant@lemm.ee 1 points 1 month ago

Ah, right. There should be an alt text in the image if you inspect it though
