I’ve worked at NASA for a good number of years, and I’ve interacted a lot with the human health and medical establishment. Anyone want to do some read-and-discuss threads on interesting layperson-friendly HMTA papers?
Honestly if this community did nothing else but aggregate NASA press releases, I’d be happy.
Does NASA still do pic of the day? That too I guess.
Yeah, those sound great.
Random info articles maybe? Just to learn things. Idk
I’m a human spaceflight guy, and well-read in the area of NASA’s evolving plans for crewed exploration of the Moon and Mars. Would y’all like a series of discussion posts on NASA’s Moon to Mars Objectives?
I would lurk in those threads
Wish we could have more images taken by JWST. I really wish they would put more out. I actually find it hard to believe that they only took like 7 images since it was launched.
I really like the JWST vs Hubble comparison photos
A lot of the images taken by JWST can have a 1 year exclusivity period where only the researchers who made the imaging proposal can have access. Most of the ones released already were for public outreach, and there's definitely been more than 7
I just wish they would release more. I love looking at those pics as well as using them for desktop background.
I would love to See some pictures of space, Galaxies, rocket launshes and so on.
Post some pics, please ;)
I’ll throw out another one. Would it be useful to the community to see short bios on those among us that work at (or around) NASA? Would others that work there be interested in posting one?
If there’s interest, I was thinking that I’d police that post heavily to ensure that only posters that had proven their credentials to me had posts… and that I’d share my own credentials with anyone that passed so that we were all on the same playing field.
I would love to see announcements for NASA live streams.
James Webb pictures on release, etc.
