It seems someone has created a /c/trotskyists community. I believe this community should be removed for what I think are obvious reasons.

idk drowning it in memes and shitposts until the administration shuts it down feels like the easy road. That's no slight: it's entertaining reading that community currently and I've participated in the snark elsewhere in this thread.

Just feels wasteful and there might be opportunity in the non-obvious courses of action, so maybe more dicussion about what those alternatives might be before we put the whole thing on ice.

It should be taken over by an admin and locked from new posts with the only post left up being an icepick image meme.

This is the right answer. Keep the community, pass it to an admin, remove all the posts except one that has the picture of an Ice Pick.

I'm on the fence. On the one hand, deeply committed Trots are wreckers and ultimately reactionary, but I was brought into Marxism by well-intentioned but poorly informed Trots: there is hope for some of them. Maybe we leave it there but make it more of a community to try to pull online Trots out of their ideological dead end. I don't know what that process would be, maybe forcing them to allow historically accurate content to contrast their claims.

Just fill it with all the arguments against Trotsky, his crimes, etc. Use it to show everyone what a piece of shit he was.

I think so as well. It'll get trolled endlessly (rightfully so) and there won't be anything productive of it.
