Ok it’s good that they’re doing that but their example of subsidized affordable housing is still an apartment that was subsidized to 42.5% of the resident’s pay. Like that’s still absolutely not affordable, it’s manageable, but at that rate most people will struggle to build and maintain emergency savings or put away anything for retirement.
I'm on the DC hype train. The circle road and driving there is dogshit but it sounds well-connected by transit.
