Long running gameplay !≠ live service. Ladder resets for D2 and even D3 to some extent felt like extra engagement and a thank you for keeping the game alive. D4 feels like the devs just filling up the chum bucket for the whales. It's soulless and calculated like UX is focused grouped & phycologist profiled for maximum chance to get players to open up that wallet not enjoy the game.

I think they are still in denial about PoE2
How is PoE2? And have they given any indication how long it'll be in "Early Access"?
4 succeed ass, 3 was worse than its predecessors.
