Mine does that too. Honestly I’d blame Apple for this shitty implementation of keyboard sound. This behavior is not only on Mlem.

- Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.

- We are currently testing our new 2.0 codebase on TestFlight. We have two beta groups: a weekly group that receives the current state of our development branch every week, and a stable group that receives a curated pre-release build at the end of each development cycle.

For me it’s only on Mlem
If you don’t have problem elsewhere that’s good. It’s well known bug that have been plaguing iPhone for many years though. And I believe this one is part of that. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254742111?sortBy=rank
This is a known issue and is being tracked here.
I also saw a post recently about this happening in another iOS Lemmy app. I do not recall which app atm.
Thanks for the bug report! As nokturne mentioned, we are tracking this one—it’s been a known issue with iOS for years. We’re still trying to identify a workaround.
Does this behavior only happen when using the Markdown editor, or can you reproduce it in other contexts (e.g., typing in search)?
I can easily reproduce it everytime I open Mlem to reply :(
And it also is in anywhere in the app if i can input something, the typing sound is crazily.
