Good luck to them. Reddit's API pricing makes no sense for scaling between power users and casual users.
The fact that they didn't just bundle 3rd party apps into reddit premium is mind boggling to me.
Minecraft dev here: support on Reddit was always more of a passion project for a few people and not a hard mandate.
Leaving reddit was the teams choice (I assume for the same reason some of you left, reddit went to shit).
Christian already had paid subscriptions he'd have to contend with. A much harder problem.
Note that there are still some issues with the profile. It doesn't currently page any content so it will only fetch the first set of saved/commented/posted content. Hopefully next release I have that working!
Updooted from Mlem!
This is fixed in our repository so it will be in the next Test flight!
It's only pull one "page" of subscriptions, so likely around 10.
Phrasing! Are we still doing "phrasing"?
As someone from Lemmy land this confuses me.
Have an upvote!
Great feedback! I hit this today when taking pictures for the app :)
Looks like FOSS is working :-)
This was my first screen in Mlem so hopefully people love it!
Still a few bugs but definitely an improvement.
I know we don't "own" the content but automating the starship thread (copy from reddit) would still be slick.
Automation of other things like CSI Star Base sounds great too.
I have cold-turkey'd reddit so I miss my news :)
