We're adding additional resources to the server and making some configuration changes today that will require a brief restart or two. During the restarts you may be unable to use your local account, and our communities and hosted images may be briefly unavailable. The restarts should come and go within a few minutes of this post.

The maintenance has been completed. Please use this thread to report any unusual or undesirable instance behavior over the next few days. My hope is that the instance will feel much snappier across all platforms now.
