Your keyboard is (probably) gross!
A ritual cleaning and cap refresh can be a spiritual experience
...shoot, you're right it is gross...have any tips on good cleaning routines, chemicals or tools? I'm worried about typical household cleaners ruining my nice keyboard.
Vacuum hair, skin/dander and crumbs. Alcohol may be okay on metal and some plastics, but windex or warm soapy water works well too.
I see, thank you kind stranger! Much appreciated. Admittedly would not have expected Windex. Reminds me of how the father used it to treat a zit in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Careful with alcohol on keyboards! I used to have an original DAS Keyboard until I cleaned it with alcohol. :(
Lesson learned the hard way. I do miss that keyboard.
