Headline is wrong, BSW is not The Left. The article is about The Left

The German article cites looks to be talking about Sahra Wagenknecht and BSW, but I guess they're talking in the context of Die Linke

For the left, it looked gloomy for a long time: constant dispute with the former party icon Sahra Wagenknecht, poll figures in the basement, elections in the east. But now the party is experiencing a small comeback shortly before the federal election – at least measured in concrete membership numbers. The left currently has more than 81,000 party members. This is shown by figures that are available to SPIEGEL.
