If the loop you're posting isn't original content uploaded by the creator, prefix the title with ♻️ or [R] (if you don't feel like typing an emoji) for "reposted". For example, ♻️ Cute dog or [R] Cute dog.
Note that some loopers upload their loops to multiple platforms including Loops, so you might see insta/tiktok logos on videos that aren't marked as reposts.
If you know the source for a loop marked ♻️/[R], please comment with it!

It would be cool if trending loops like this could show up in Lemmy directly? Or maybe reposts like this could share comments and likes somehow.
I feel like that’s a huge latent advantage: the fediverse ecosystem is trying to network with itself, not silo and sabotage like corporate social media. But it’s still a bit divided.
There are also some obvious compatibility issues. For instance, Mastodon messages look really weird when they show up on Lemmy.
Loops isn't on the fediverse yet, right? The developer is still working on it?
Yeah, as soon as it's federated and open sourced I'm hoping it'll have functionality like that
