A foot patrol of the French unit operating within the UNIFIL reserve force came under fire from an Israeli army position while inspecting an earth barrier recently erected by Israeli forces in the Wadi Qatmoun area, on the outskirts of the Lebanese town of Rmeish, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

I wish they'd just return fire for once.

For real these UNFIL patrols are supposed to fight back against agression.

It is getting painfully obvious they only exist to surpress armed resistance against the occupiers.

seems to me they are there to document but not prevent. If they are there to support the occupiers as you said, why would the occupiers fire on them?

Send in the fucking Swedes.

Absolutely no shit taken by Swedish peacekeepers when either side of a conflict shoots at them.

IDF would shit their pants if they had to face actual modern warfighters. Basically all of their victories are against malfunctional ME militaries and irregular fighters, to say nothing about the base atrocities they are committing against defenseless people.

Exactly, this is something lost in propagandizing this as a war and not a genocide, the IDF does not know how to fight a combined arms conflict at infantry level nor are they motivated in a professional military sense, they have just been practicing genocide with very expensive machines of war and dropping an incomprehensible amount of bombs in a shockingly tiny area which I would imagine among other things makes you poorly mentally equipped with no mental plasticity to handle the speed and lethality of a motivated, near-peer opposing military that isn't already conveniently contained within an open air prison.

This is going to end very badly for jews and people in general living in Israel, which among other reasons (obviously) is why the Palestinian Genocide is catastrophic.

Like without the infinite arms supply and backing of US air power dominance, an IDF brigade in Ukraine would get steamrolled by the Ukranians or the Russians for that matter.
