Good lord we are irredeemable. Attacks on the most vulnerable and people are defending it. So many people saying disable people just need to "get on with it." People just completely oblivious to the hell claiming benefits is in the UK, thinking you can self diagnose autism and just get money. Real work will set your free vibes. So much eugenics! I hate it here.

the only good thing about living in the US is it means i don't live in the UK

What do you feel is better about the USA than the U.K.?

Of the two I definitely think the US is worse, although it may depend on state. Work rights, protections, holidays, public transit, and yes, benefits, are all still considerably better here. We also may be terf island but trans murder is relatively rare in the UK with only a couple cases per year compared to 200+ per year in the US. Homelessness rate (actual rough sleeping on the street, not just temporary housing homelessness) is 20x higher in the US as well.

This is not to say that the UK is good. It is not. But when compared side by side I think things are better over here. I wouldn't choose to run away to the US let me put it that way.
