Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

isn't she with one of those groyper Nazi lunatics?

Loomer has described herself as "pro-white nationalism", stating her belief that "liberals and left-wing globalist Marxist Jews" don't understand "a difference between white nationalism and white supremacy". Loomer has described her belief that "this country really was built as the white Judeo-Christian ethnostate", and that "immigration and all these calls for diversity, it's starting to destroy this country". Asked in 2017 by Haaretz about her views as a Jew participating in an "anti-sharia" event where the neo-Nazi group Identity Evropa was visibly present, Loomer replied, "Oh, this is like an identitarian group. I'm not totally familiar, but I know they believe in preserving white European culture; there is nothing wrong with that, and they are nationalist." Leaders and members of Identity Evropa, such as former leader Elliot Kline, praised Nazi Germany and pushed for what they described as the "Nazification of America".

Ms. Loomer, who has floated the baseless conspiracy theory that the Sept. 11 attacks were an “inside job”

Between Maggie Haberman, Jonathan Swan and Ken Bensinger, this was the #1 most important and descriptive fact they could find to describe Laura Loomer.

That matt quote keeps being right lol. Today is the dumbest day in US history only to be surpassed by every subsequent day of US history.

[Loomer] was apparently wielding more influence over the staff of the National Security Council than Mr. Waltz, who runs the agency.

She wanted them fired because - I'm not making this up - they are neocons.

Ms. Loomer has been part of a group effort by some Trump allies to disparage members of the White House staff whom they consider too hawkish, too eager to commit American troops around the world and fundamentally at odds with Mr. Trump’s “America First” foreign policy. The agitators have used the phrase “neocon” — short for neoconservative — to describe many of those staff members working for Mr. Waltz.

"Getting Loomered".

Last month she started her own research and vetting firm, called Loomered Strategies, that she said would provide high-level opposition research for hire. The term refers to what she and others call “getting Loomered,” which is when she targets someone, either in ambush-style interviews or online. She has also tried to dig up dirt on officials from outside the administration, either because they have gotten in Mr. Trump’s way or because she questions their loyalty.

What a fucking horribly written article. I wanted to read the whole thing but it gave me a migraine.

Of course, my concern here is that they want those troops at home. thinkin-lenin

Exactly. I'm sure she wants Trump to do stuff like use nuclear weapons on Iran because in her pea brain that means the troops can stay home and take care of domestic problems.

I don't know if it's reassuring or scary that the US is acting like they're gonna need all the soldiers they can in US soil

[–] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 3 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

I can't imagine why it would be reassuring. There's not an organized Left for them to be afraid of. Which leaves us a nightmarish dystopia of right wing infighting, border expansions, and mass murder.

In a "do they know something I don't" kind of way. But I agree, scary proposition and I hope people stay safe. With how much worse things seem to be getting there's bound to be pushback at some point.

Thanks for skimming it for me because no way was I reading that shit, the next several years gonna be wild

Lmao, wonder if she's hiring. hahaha

Sentence after sentence - you have to wade through massive information overload and way too many clauses. Its' clause city. It's a serious slog to figure who is doing what and why are they doing it. The first easy fixes would be if the editor had them use far more periods and if the order of things was changed so you know where the text is going. What a mess.

A mad king getting his knob polished in the halls of power by someone who would otherwise be involuntarily committed. Name a more iconic duo.

Coming to the Hallmark Channel June 14th - The Mad King & The Mad Courtier. It's a May-September romance featuring lust, betrayal, and real palace intrigue! Why June 14th? That's a very interesting question. It's Trump's birthday but that's merely a coincidence. Wink-wink.
