Is there any sort of cognitive dissonance happening on a national level around this? America and it's media have been touting the "land of the free", "home of democracy" slogans for decades, is there not an identity crisis happening amongst those who believe it? I understand the left vs right, democrat vs republican arguments most of the time but surely no matter which side you're on this must be a shock?
You see the Hands Off! protests that just happened?
It was literally a rebuke of the Trump administration, over 1,200+ protests across the country, it also sparked protests in France, Germany, and Britain.
The next one is on April 19th, Saturday and Sunday
There were no tariffs on Cuba, Iran, Venezuela either. There is no official trade with all of these nations.
Certainly the Ukraine proxy war on Russia was significantly a US war on Europe. And there is a potential for getting Russia's assistance in finishing off Europe for US gain. But Europe will fully cooperate in their own destruction, out of US loyalty.
