Why Havertz over Vieira or ESR?
I think he was one of our better attackers last game tbh, and he needs time to adapt to Arsenal, which is only going to happen on the pitch. With only the one game to go until international break, I think keeping him and changing things up if needs be afterwards is the better call.
Fair point, how long does he stay in the starting lineup after the international break? I think the best option for Arteta was to ease him into the starting lineup akin Grealish at Man City.
I'd trust the gaffer on it, idk though. Vieira had a good showing and if he does that again today and looks good in training I'd like to see more of him. ESR needs to actually get on the pitch first.

Martinelli Nketiah Saka
Odegaard Rice Smith Rowe
Zinchenko Gabriel White Saliba
Ramsdale
ESR on the right? Not sure how I feel about breaking up that Saka/Øde connection
I think Odegaard needs to be there so Marinelli can regain his form. Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have played often enough in the past that their connection would resume quite effortlessly. I'd also want Odegaard and Rice to pinch in on Fernandes which would suffocate United's attack.

Been in England 3 years and still has no idea which position he wants.to.play.
And going back to gallas buying Chelsea players to start for us never works. Jorginho is the only one I can think of who hasn't been calamitous, and he was literally bought just as a backup to see matches out, and even then I don't think he's all that amazing
