I'm sorry, is a news article referencing stones as a unit of weight?

I know the world has been going backwards in the past decade, but did we really just go back to the 1600s?

It's a chiefly British way of measuring body weight. 1 st = 14 lbs, so 7 st 9 lbs = 107 lbs. Though honestly 50kg is closer to 7 st 12 lbs.
