Overview:

Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. Geez S$200,000 per EV (including 10 year maintenance ) Cars really are expensive in Singapore.

I wonder do the police also need to pay COE, or do they get a break?

Singapore heavily restricts driving. Very high fees on cars and you can only drive it on certain days dependent on your license

you can only drive it on certain days dependent on your license plate number

This part is incorrect.

When i was working there it was an even odd thing. How about you say what is correct then?

It is just expensive due to the COE. There is some different restrictions for Off peak cars and some other system for Vintage cars. There is no even and odd day restrictions in Singapore.

"For security, the car’s built-in online connectivity feature has been disabled to prevent remote access" - cool, can normals request that too?
