I wish edibles (or weed in general) worked like that on me. At most I get a mild buzz.
Tried taking a tolerance break once; by day eight I got sick and tired of not being able to sleep for more than 30 minutes each night and caved. Took one hit and got so high I almost had a panic attack. But by day 3 my tolerance was already back to its normal level.
Insomnia is a bitch. Had it all my life. Weed is the only thing that lets me sleep. Which also sucks because don't get enough REM sleep with weed and haven't for years.
Is it possible you have narcolepsy?
