Verstappen, Norris, Piastri, Hamilton, Perez, Leclerc, Sainz, Alonso, Russell
Max pole/win
both Mercedes drivers will finish above Aston. I think Mercedes upgrades have put their car above Aston and I don't see Aston out-developing Mercedes going forward.
Ferrari will continue to struggle, but Charles will at least qualify in the top 3
Yuki earns some decent points for the team and rumors of De Vries being replaced will intensify after he finishes P15

Max has to DNF at some point, right? Right??
I'm a Max fan, but if him DNFing results in an Alonso win then I am ok with that trade
Idk. Max is literally running at like 60% capacity most races so I doubt his components are getting worn out at all.
Checo may need to pack some hiking boots this year, just to be safe. I want my papaya boys to do well but good gosh, things are looking dire.

On top of that, I predict Tsunoda in P11, either by finishing there or getting a random penalty that knocks him into it lol
How long can the FIA keep the meme alive?
I predict Ferrari mess up on strategy, Alonso looks like he could win but doesn't, and Max leads every lap.

My first race week on Lemmy instead! \m/ Let's see how following the race will work out here live. I'll miss the live threads but hey it's a small thing to leave in the big picture.
Patrick Stewart will do another shoey with Daniel Ricciardo
i thought Verstappen already won the 2023 Canadian GP????
My predictions:
- Max gets pole from Alonso and Hamilton
- Stroll podium at his home race
- A Williams in the points
- Ferrari struggle to beat the Alpines
- Tsunoda P8
Stroll podium after Nando lets him pass.
- Alonso P2 in Quali, PP3 finish.
- Alpine will bork it and finish with only one car at P8.
- Yuki finishes P10 but gets dropped for unsafe release or something out of his control.
- Perez disappoints with P4 finish. Lewis P2.
- I will get a bad sunburn because I forgot to put on sunscreen.
It's such a shame that AlphaTauri consistently manage to give Yuki what's basically a shitbox. He makes AT look so much better than they deserve. I'd love to see him move on to a bigger team (e.g., RB, Merc, or Ferrari) where he'd have a chance to really demonstrate his skills unimpeded.
I can see them moving him up to replace Checo. Heโs had a couple of shockingly bad races and they probably donโt want the drama of him thinking he can beat Max.
