If “them” is Americans, remember most of them never leave their home state, watch sports that (almost) no other country plays and goes to state fairs to eat deep fried butter sticks.

Most American’s wouldn’t recognize culture if it kicked them in the balls and yelled “I am culture” in their faces

You can try. I do.

There’s an old saying that you cannot teach those that don’t want to learn. The hegemonic outlook of most Americans put them squarely in that category. They’re simply not interested in “others”
