It's more of a choose-your-own-adventure kind of thing. Do you:

  1. spray the room and everything and everyone in it?
  2. sacrifice your shirt sleeve and possibly your lap as well?
  3. hope your hand or hands can contain it all?
  4. let loose on the floor, where only the floor and possibly your footwear is at risk?
  5. Bellagio Fountains, everyone gets to participate!

I usually opt for the #3 hand method if I'm quick enough, but inevitably it always ends similar to an upturned spoon under a faucet.
