So I have another lemmy app that I keep around for only one feature - hoping it can be considered here. When I long press the account selector (bottom middle), not only does it list my accounts but it also queries the servers and returns 1. Response time in ms and (more importantly) 2. Number of unread messages/replies/you get the drift. I will literally hop on that, see where I have unread, then pop back over here to read them.

Thanks for listening, and would be awesome if you could add something like that.

This is now available on the TestFlight version. Response times aren't shown by default; you can turn them on under Settings -> Accounts.
