Shoutout to pcpartpicker for putting a reminder in if the CPU doesn't include a stock cooler (just have to put a compatible motherboard in along with the CPU for it to warn)

Isn't that the difference between the boxed and tray versions? Boxed come with a cooler, tray doesn't but is cheaper because of it.
This was boxed. Except the space where cooler sits is empty.
Mine came with a fan.
Oh, must be a CPU fan :)
Doesn't the X mean they come with no fan in the same way Intel K or F means no fans.
Some other retailers seem to list the same model with cooler for almost the same price. X means some changes in CPU itself, something to do with internal memory or whatever. Many people recommended the X version over plain 5700 due to this.
