Does linking to tiktok work for people without existing tiktok accounts now? If videos can be viewed without accounts I might just start linking directly without rehosting.

Never had an account and it has been working recently, used to have to use an alternate frontend or mirror site but been behaving lately. YMMV.

I think it's like twitter where you can see the first linked vid but then trying to look at comments or other stuff and it asks you to log in
