I ate this meal at the end of 5 days of bushwalking AKA backpacking.
The chips and “butter fish” are accompanied by a wedge of lemon, some tartare sauce and a sprinkling of chicken salt. Also a deep fried dim sim, a calamari ring, and a battered scallop.
Including a drink (ginger beer?), it cost AUD$16.80.

Over cooked
Love some good fish and chips. Eldest daughter and her boyfriend both just started working at an old school fish and chip joint near here and they make some seriously good potato scallops. Their life choices are terrible for me 😕.
