I don't think 'windows 88' is trying to not be a nazi, they are just making their being a nazi slightly less obvious.

It is just a dogwhistle using windows 98.

Yeah the 88 is fresh ink. Still a nazi.

For those unaware, H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so nazis will use 88 (HH) as a dogwhistle. Also 1488 is a more blatant one, referring to the 14 words.
