Honestly, appropriate. That seems like the kind of energy someone whose sports team is being mentioned at their funeral would want.

My cousin passed away in 2021 and he was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. At his funeral the priest was reading a eulogy written by this family and they mentioned that he was a cowboys fan and 2 of my other cousins both booed loudly.
