What is Critical Role?

Critical Role is a group of nerdy-ass voice actors who sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons.

Streams every Thursday at 7pm PT and then rebroadcasts the following Friday at 12am and 9am PT on Twitch.

Candela Obscura: Horror drama campaign using their own game system, live streamed every last Thursday of each month at 7pm PT
4-Sided Dive: Talkshow with a roundtable discussion of 4 guests, to talk about recent episodes and answer fan questions. Streams every first Tuesday of the month at 7pm PT
Narrative Telephone: The narrator tells a tale and passes it along to a cast member who can listen to it only once before retelling it to another... How weird can things possibly get?
Midst: Sci-fi fantasy radio drama, streams Wednesdays.
Re-Slayer's Take: podcast about a lesser-known band of heroes updates Mondays 5am PST
Tales from the Stinky Dragon New episodes air Wednesdays every two weeks.
Weird Kids podcast with Ashley and Taliesin on their interests and perspectives.

The Mighty Nein and the Bell's Hells are briefly aboard the same ship, in the cursed seas surrounding the Shattered Teeth. Suddenly half of the team is transported to a shadowy mirror realm. Remaining on board: Chetney, Ashton, Laudna, Jester, Caleb, Yasha, and Veth. It is decided to bring the ship to the nearest land, the beach of which unfortunately is inhabited by carnivorous worms that swarm the party and also introduce them to a new friend named Ethel. He's over 7 feet tall and blue, but so what?

The Misty Ascent

After the strange creeping of some odd, sourceless, spectreal mist began to rob your troop of friends and members. After a mysterious and sudden surge of color, only a few remain here on the deck of the Nein Heroez: Laudna, Jester, Caleb, Yasha, Ashton, Chetney, and Veth. Chilled to the bone and lost in the mist, it is but yourselves that remain upon this dock.

The looming shadow of the fast-approaching island itself growing closer and closer as (amidst the chaos) the anchor was not yet placed.
[Sounds of ship running aground]
You feel the ship lurch as it runs aground. You glance over the side to see the dark, sandy beach that greets you, like an endless display of grains of long-tumbled obsidian. The black beaches of the island have met you. Your mind and your wits just click in to realize you're not sure what happened and where your friends are, but you've arrived.
