That's a shame. He's consistently an excellent interviewer, asking intelligent and relevant questions, giving people time to speak in depth, and listening to what they have to say. We could do with many more journalists like him. Sad to see him go.

Paikin is to retire as a full-time TVO host on June 27, 2025, which will also be the final episode of The Agenda. He will be continuing with TVO as co-host of the weekly political podcast #onpoli, and writing column's for TVO's website as well as hosting the town hall series, TVO Today Live, which airs several times a year, and the YouTube history series, Ontario Chronicle.

This is a terrible loss. I hope he is not actually retiring but merely redistributing his efforts.
