Dahon makes good stuff. If you are looking for an affordable folding bike, Zizzo is also a good choice. Tern also makes some more affordably priced folders like the BYB.
Personally, I have a Priority Folder which is more expensive but also has a belt drive and 8 speed IGH: Love it!
I don't need a folder right now, but that's good to know in case I need to hop on a bus with a bike for work :)
