Light has momentum, but does it have inertia? If inertia is a measure of an object's "resistance to acceleration", can light have a resistance to acceleration if it by definition always travels at the same speed?
Edit: Wait, I vaguely recall one of my physics profs mentioning that if one had a box lined with mirrors, it would be more difficult to shake the box if there were light bouncing around inside. So maybe?
Well wait, what is the actual mathematical difference? Because I am fully willing to admit I misremembered the full form of e=mc^2 where it may be momentum other than inertia, but perhaps it's just arguing semmantics at that point.
