I thought the numbers would be much higher, tbh.

When you consider that only the City of Toronto has a population of over 3 million, and each person owns a lot of devices with lithium-ion batteries, we're talking about dozens of fires out of tens of millions of batteries.

Still, lithium-ion battery fires are no joke, so minimizing the risks should be a priority.
