19-21 bananas a day is over 200% the recommended intake of potassium

As someone who loves chips/french fries, I'm afraid even I can't compete with this lmfao (ate so many chips and crisps one day I had like 6,000 mg of potassium but that was only one day, even then I felt like it was risky lol) 😭

From my understanding, any excess amount of vitamin intake should lead to your body not absorbing it and allowing it to pass through you. I'm not sure what long-term effects would be, though. A few days should be whatever, but doing it for 6 months feels like a long time to risk issues.

This is true only for water soluble vitamins. Fat soluble vitamins will accumulate and could result in a fatal dose. Excess consumption of some things like potassium could be deadly as it could cause an ion imbalance - siezures, cardiac arrest and death possible. Not sure if the bananas alone could do that but im not trying to find out

Wonder what the ld50 of bananas is.

That's only true for some vitamins. I believe vitamins E, D, and K are dangerous if you take more than the daily dose.

Vitamin A is notorious for being in overdose amounts in large animal livers.
