Ex i can go to lemmy.pt and find fedia@fedia.io but can't search for meta@lemmy.pt on fedia.io

EDIT: solved, looks like it takes some (more) time to instances to federate

Fedia seems to be having federation issues too, like kbin.social.

Which is very unfortunate, makes it hard to recommend or use kbin at all.

@Generator
As a side note, kbin.social isn’t really able to federate in or out due to needing DDOS protections right now.

Somewhat related, are comments Federated?

I only see my comment at - https://fedia.io/m/cats@midwest.social/t/4348/My-first-Lemmy-post-Maleficent
At the source, I see two other comments, but not mine - https://midwest.social/post/651485

What do you see when you try? I find meta@lemmy.pt in the search here

[-] Generator@fedia.io 1 points 2 years ago

At first nothing, no results. But after some minutes it show on search

@Generator
Hmm. That’s interesting. From my Kbin instance I can search and find that community ok. Fedia was having issues earlier so maybe it’s something related to that?

Seems like the Federated is not always working and doesn't always bring in the consistent number of threads. For example, https://fedia.io/m/kbinMeta@kbin.social only brings in 2 threads, but on Kbin there are many threads there.
