The funny thing is, I am 100% sure Dale knew. This CEOs wife probably not.
Yeah he's got a couple episodes implying it iirc?
I won't say that isn't a valid interpretation, but I've always thought the joke was simply "paranoid conspiracist thinks everyone is out to get him except the guy fucking his wife".
I think it also highlights Dale's sweet side; despite his tendency towards conspiracy, he refuses to see the obvious when Nancy is cheating on him because he is 100% in love and trusting of her. He literally can't imagine her betraying his trust like that. He will believe that Joseph is half-alien before doubting Nancy of wrongdoing.
Either that, or he doesnt care, loves her anyway, and loves his kid, who is definitely too stupid for anyone else to credibly claim parenthood of. Either way it's very sweet.
But I'd lean towards 'doesn't notice his son looks nothing like him' because it's funnier.
Yes, he never comes out and days it, but it's implied that he knows, and chooses to accept it because everyone is happy, and he knows he isn't a perfect father. He allows John Redcorn to be a secondary father figure.
