A memorial for the front page of the internet. If you have left reddit or is considering leaving then this community is for you.
There’s also a blog documenting the rise and fall of reddit as well as news and thoughts on the whole issue.
It serves as an archive for posts and topics in case reddit decides to delete anti-reddit posts within its platform.

When somebody threatens to murder you and your family and then a bunch of spam accounts tell you to just get over it:

How are you 99% sure? I cant see the post you got banned for but if you tried to call out alts and link accounts to people in real life (essentially doxing with guesswork), I can understand the ban.
The guy isnprobably not a lawyer.
If he's not then I'm 99% sure he's impersonating a lawyer that is so guns obsessed he uses them in his advertising. Like guns and crazy are his entire personality.
Again, I do not want to call this guy out, or antagonize him further, I just want to pretend this never happened. But if anything should happen to me or my family in the immediate future, I do want to make sure these threats are documented somewhere, and I don't trust U.S. law enforcement to do that right now.
Also, no I did not call this person out by name on Reddit and I did not link his accounts. I did essentially the same thing I am doing here because I just want this shit documented somewhere.
To be fair though, saying you found a psycho on the internet is like saying you found a frog in a swamp. Engaging just encourages them. For all you know and the most likely case is that this is some permanent basement dweller 1000 miles away that just gets off on threatening people. Those kinds of people are everywhere online. The best thing is to just block, report, move on, and not encourage them.
Obviously you also need to look out for yourself. If you believe this is a credible threat then be sure you scrub as much personally identifying info from your profile as possible (this is a good idea regardless) and report it to the local authorities. You may not trust the local authorities but anyone above that won't care at all about some online rando threatening you unless you are rich or something. Even the local authorities probably won't do anything unless they are making specific threats, this is someone they are already watching, they are especially bored, or you are rich. But you will want it on record so the person is on someones radar. Plus then if something does happen and they don't do anything then maybe someone might possibly be held accountable.
