Oof my whole wishlist is practically on sale ๐
Lucky you. Half my wishlist is games that aren't even out yet.
I shouldn't buy anything because I don't have time for it as it is, but I really want to get stuff ugh, i'm even tempted by the discounted steam deck! And so many new releases in just a few months as well.
Anyway, Chrono Trigger is 50% off, maybe it's time I finally give it a try. P5 is only 40% off so still a pass for me. Maybe finally get onto the DSP hype to tide me over until that factorio expansion finally gets finished. Maybe get a strategy game, I've been torn between Age of Darkness and Diplomacy is not an option. So many choices...
Chrono Trigger is a must-play. Stellar game. I don't know how the PC port fares, though.
My biggest worry is that I have trouble focusing on individual games for long lately and Chrono Trigger might be a bit too old fashioned to keep my attention. I keep hearing people gush about the story however, I hope it's not just nostalgia
Honestly I played it for the first time last year and... It's good but I don't understand the hype? The story in 2022 didn't blow my mind. Definitely fun and I still recommend though.
I have Marvel's Avengers in my cart. Debating on spending the $5. I played it a while back during the free weekend. There is a fun game in there but the cosmetics and other monetization practices put me off spending a larger amount of money on it. It looks like since they stopped development they released a lot of those pay-walled skins for free and patched quite a bit. Willing to give it another shot.
Keep in mind that they stopped development completely and IIRC, it will be delisted from stores by the end of the year. I imagine existing players can continue playing it but it might be limited in some ways and stop working at some point? But for $5 you'll probably get your money's worth by then.
Are there any good visual novel on sale? ๐
Just bought No Way Out, and Dark Souls 3 (50$ off it's normal price of NEARLY 90 GODDAMN DOLLARS for the deluxe edition)
There's a whole bunch of smaller (indie) games in my cart right now. I'll have to check each of them out a bit better and see if they'll run on Linux and probably throw half of them out.
I am curious about Dredge though.
I'm thinking of getting Elden Ring, I played a bunch of it at a friend's house on his xbox last week and now I'm hooked
I think I'll buy HL2:Part 1 and Part 2
I finally pulled the trigger on Prodeus and I like it so far.
