The fit was probably real the "Not concerned" is likely a lie, or at the very least a lie in that he's a russian asset so it really doesn't concern him because it's what Putin wants.

This is a weird article.

China's power is not in their military. There is absolutely reason to be concerned about the US's catastrophic collapse on the world stage, and China's dominant position in the world order especially as it might reorganize now that the US is going the way of all empires, but them having a military parade has absolutely fuck-all to do with any of that. And Russia being involved barely matters in any respect to any of that. What are they going to contribute?

It's just a weird, overly short, article that comes from an extremely bizarre set of premises.
